Fun Schools Project

We are the administrative team at Wilbur Wright Middle School in Munster, Indiana: three leaders on a mission to prove that school can be the best part of a kid’s day. We’ve spent the last few years rebuilding what education feels like from the inside out by creating a culture where laughter lives next to learning, and where joy isn’t an accident, it’s a strategy.

This isn’t just a program. It’s a movement and a reminder that culture is built one moment, one classroom, one connection at a time. Over 90% of our students say they want to come to school, and that’s not luck. It’s leadership rooted in heart, humor, and hope.

We’re here to share what’s worked, what didn’t, and why fun might just be the most serious tool we have in education.

Testimonials

“I attended this workshop and I can say, without exaggeration, that it changed my life.  I was burned out and on the brink of leaving education within a couple years.  This completely changed my point of view and attitude toward school and my school’s culture.  Now I am part of a school with a much improved culture and look forward to coming to work every day, all thanks to the team from Wilbur Wright Middle School.”Luke S. – Social Studies Teacher

“I loved literally ALLLLLLLL of the things! I love the community you guys have built and envy your staff and students!” Amanda – 4th Grade Teacher
